Hit The Lights 45

In this program our students don't just learn to play an instrument. They learn to play in a band. This program gives our students both the focus on improving their playing skills as well as teaching them how to play with other musicians. The emphasis is on performance, collaboration and learning valuable social skills. Our students prepare and rehearse for a show at a real music venue over the course of a 16 -week season. Each season has multiple themed shows in which a student can choose to participate. Depending on the skill level of the student, they may choose participate in more than one show. Our shows are extremely diverse and will give each student the opportunity to broaden their musical palette as they continue to participate. Our current shows are Classic Rock Show:
Wednesdays 5:30 to 8:30

The Classic Rock show will focus on the Rock greats from the 60's 70's and 80's. Ranging from bands such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Zombies, CSNY, The Who, Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Tom Petty, Black Sabbath, Heart, Fleet Wood Mac and Bruce Springsteen.

These bands are the cornerstones of Rock history and we wanted our inaugural shows to reflect their influences on music throughout the decades. Our students will be able to help chose songs we will be performing at the end of the session.
